Always great personal service from the owner, Carlo, to the front desk personnel, to the techs. I cannot imagine a dealership even coming close.

Firstly, although it was probably just a computer error, the initial bill came up to $30 more than it should have been. The receptionist even read the price to me and didnt think twice about it. And it would have been left at that price had I not questioned the price. That gave me a bad feeling. If I wasn't savvy enough to question it, you would gladly take more of my money... and I assume it works on many people. Secondly, I understand that day was busy, but I didn't think it would take a whole 8 hours to get my car done, there are places for basic oil changes in and out in 20 minutes. I get that you give the full inspection but 8 hours seemed a bit much to me personally.

Thank you for the feedback. I did look into the comments you made. Our invoice was higher as a Seasonal Maintenance package performed only includes basic oil and filter, your Volkswagen require Synthetic oil and a European oil filter. As for the time it took yes a Quickie lube is 20 minutes - we're not a quick lube, and do not advertise to be one. We performed a complete visual inspection with wheels removed and brakes and safety systems inspected as per your digital report I saw.. A Quick lube doesn't do that. So please understand what you asked for an what your comments on timing are just cant happen in 20 minutes. Yes we are a busy facility and yes, vehicles are left here some times for multiple hours for their service visits. Yes 8 hours - the day - Yes it happens. We are not in the business of speed, and jam it it and out oil services. As well this is peak season for service so my team is trying very hard to manage all customer expectations on time. I also noted my staff provided a additional discount on the already promotion Seasonal package. That should not have happened, but she was trying to ensure great customer service. Please note that will not happen again. If you're looking for a speedy, low price, high quality facility then i may suggest another Quick Lube for your service required moving forward. Excellent service and exploitation of work done as well as suggested future service requirements .

Sil's did a thorough inspection, fluid's replacement and some checking/replacements of steering damping components, engine sensor and suspension. This all after my ageing Crossfire stalled while driving Sunday Nite on the QEW and having the tow truck dropping it off at Sil's for checking. The car runs fine so far. Thanks for all the people at Sil's working to keep my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire alive.

Let's be honest, there are lots of other mechanic shops around, but Sil's is the BEST, hands down! Carlo and his team are excellent, knowledgeable people to deal with who really care about their customers. I love their texting system and how they show you what's right with your car, what's wrong with your car but can wait if you need it to, and what's urgent to fix. Their technology is top of the line, same as them. Kudos to Susan and Terry at the front desk. They're incredible, too. Honest people, that's Sil's.
